What’s New in the 2024 Hyundai Elantra?

Updated Styling and Tech Features in the 2024 Hyundai Elantra

The Hyundai Elantra is a fuel-efficient, stylish, and well-equipped compact sedan. It’s got tough competition and still manages to stand out from the crowded compact category. With a few styling upgrades and new tech features, the Hyundai Elantra is better than ever.

It’s a great car, especially for drivers who don’t want to spend a small fortune on reliable transportation, and you can explore the lineup at Hyundai of Fort Myers in Fort Myers, Florida.

Affordable Transportation with Luxury-Grade Features

Hyundai gave the Elantra a new front end. Gone is the flat grille, which has been replaced with more angles for an aggressive and grown-up look. The automaker also added new exterior lights and new wheel designs. Drivers can choose their Elantra in new colors like Exotic Green and Ultimate Red.

The Hyundai Elantra interior includes soft-touch door panels, H-Tex leather seating in the Limited trims, one front USB-C port and two rear USB-C ports, an upgraded wireless charging pad, a 4.2-inch instrument cluster, and a standard 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HD Radio, two USB ports, Bluetooth, and four speakers.

Hyundai outfits the SEL trim with remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, six speakers, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and push-button start. It’s available with a 10.2-inch touchscreen with navigation. The Limited and N Line trims have a standard 10.2-inch touchscreen with the Hyundai Digital Key App, eight speakers, and ambient lighting.

Impressive Performance and Safety Tech

The affordable Hyundai Elantra features three engine choices. The SE, SEL, and Limited trims have a 147-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The N-Line comes with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder with turbocharging, and the Elantra N ups the horses to 276.

The SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels with the base engine have a continuously variable automatic transmission, while the N Line features a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic. The N is available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. All models have front-wheel drive.

In typical Hyundai style, the Elantra has plenty of safety technology. The newest features include Lane-Keep Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert with haptic steering-wheel pulses.

Other safety features include Forward Collision Warning, Automatic High Beams, Pedestrian Detection, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Departure Warning, Rear-Seat Alert, Driver-Attention Alert, and a Rearview Camera.

The SEL trim adds Adaptive Cruise Control and Cyclist Detection, and the Limited and N trims have LED headlights, Highway Driving Assist, Rear Parking Sensors, and Rear Collision Warning.
