Hyundai’s Reaction to COVID-19 in the U.S.
Let’s face it. We all hoped that by the summer, COVID-19 would be a distant memory until winter. Sadly, this is not the case, especially not in Florida. We know that many of you are worried about the ongoing pandemic, especially those of you that are over 65 or who are at high risk because of a pre-existing condition. Hyundai has put procedures in place to protect our employees and customers as much as we can during the pandemic.

New Procedures in Place
First, all Hyundai dealerships have new cleaning protocols in place for our dealerships, as well as mask procedures and social distancing to keep our employees and customers safe. Our dealerships are in line with local and state guidelines so that we can keep everyone as healthy as possible.
The Hyundai Corporation has donated over $4 million to hospitals in the United States through its Hope on Wheels program. The money has gone to COVID-19 testing centers so that tens of thousands of tests could be delivered to drive through testing centers. We know that one of the ways that we can combat the pandemic is through rapid testing. So far, testing centers that Hyundai supports have processed three-quarters of a million tests.
One of the best things Hyundai has done is to protect our customers who may be impacted by the pandemic due to job loss or job slowdown. Hyundai has the Assurance Job Loss Protection Program. This program will pay for up to six months of your car payments if you lose your job due to COVID19.
Hyundai wants you to know that we are with you through this pandemic. We want all of our customers to stay healthy and safe. When you’re ready to buy your next Hyundai, why not come by and see us at Hyundai of Fort Myers, located at 2850 Colonial Blvd. You can also give us a call at 239-970-9257.
